If you are at the store this weekend and would like to pick up a reward for our 3rd-5th graders taking the leap it would be greatly appreciated. Starting Wednesday, 3rd graders will begin testing. We want to have daily drawings for students that are on time and do their best! We will continue giving away prizes when our 4th & 5th graders test.

LEAP parade is tomorrow starting at 8:30. Please see the attached link for the directions on how to line up. To minimize the congestion on Walker Road, please turn from Hwy 80 onto East Walker Road across from Annie Road. Come around the curve and stage facing North on Walker Road on the side of the road closest to the playground. You may stage there and set up for the parade. Power has been restored at school and we look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow. Field day events are canceled this week.

Due to weather, we are canceling field day events on Thursday and Friday. We will reschedule these events. We are waiting to make a decision about Friday's leap parade.

4th & 5th grade parents: There was a mistake on this week's Week at a Glance. Level Up tutorning is Monday and Tuesday this week. We do not have it on Wednesday. We will finish tutoring on April 16.

If you are attending the solar eclipse today please park along Walker Road by the playground fence or in the staff parking lot. Overflow parking will be at at church. Do not park on both sides of a Walker Road to help the flow of traffic.

Next Week's fun, we have a lot of opportunities for parent involvement: Solar Eclipse Monday- Students can bring a blanket to take outside for the solar eclipse viewing. We have an optional $3 snocone if you would like to send money with your child Monday morning. Parents are invited from 1-2:00pm. In the event that it is raining, we will have activities in the classroom for students only. Field Day & Aggie Mile- The Aggie Mile will be run before each grade levels's field day time. April 11 PreK & K 9:00-11:00am 1st & 2nd 12:00-2:00pm April 12 Leap Parade will be at 8:30 for 3rd-5th grade- Parents are invited to decorate their cars and celebrate our students' Time to Shine! Field Day events will follow 3rd & 4th 9:00-11:00am 5th 12:00-2:30pm

Parents, Friday, April 5th we will be taking Group Class Pictures for each homeroom, Pre k through 5th Grade. If you would like to purchase one, envelopes will be sent home today in folders and I have attached an order form if needed. https://5il.co/2hn9l

The weather is definitely not cooperating with our Donut Dash this year. We are going to have to postpone one last time. We are rescheduling to be on the same day as field day. April 11- PreK-2nd grade will have field day and donut dash all at CES. April 12- 3rd-5th will have field day and donut dash all at CES. We will send field day and donut dash times home after spring break. They will be morning events. We appreciate all that have donated and helped to make this year's race a big success already.

Donut Dash times for Friday: The race will be at CHS track. Parents are welcome to take pictures and cheer on our students, but may not run on the track. We are looking forward to celebrating our students. 9-10 Pre-K and K 10-11 3rd and 4th 11-12 5th grade 1-2. 1st and 2nd

PreK Egg hunt will be Wednesday at 10:00. Your child's teacher wil send specifics on what to bring. When parking at CES, please park along the carline road or Walker Road. If parking on Walker Road, please park on the side of the road closest to the playground. Do not park on both sides of Walker Road. Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing everyone.
