Please join us in spreading cheer with Two’s Day on Tuesday, 2-22-22. We invite teachers and students to come to school wearing a tie, tutu, dressed like a twin, or wearing 2 of anything.
Happiness is the only thing that multiplies when you share it.

Parents,
We have temporarily lost electricity. We have talked to Entergy and it should be back on soon. We are still having class and dismissal will stay as scheduled. 4th & 5th grade after school tutoring will continue as normal.

Parents,
The best way to improve your child’s reading is practice. Our reading program has an online component that can be accessed at home. This website has great books that reinforce what your child is learning in class. Your teacher has your child’s username and password if you need it. Please ask them for it if you don’t have it.
We would love for you to set a goal with your child of how many minutes they want to read each week and then GO FOR IT!

Please continue to send water bottles. We are having students forget their water bottles. We are allowing 4th - 6th grade students to use water fountains as a refill station. If you would like to donate a gallon water jug to use for refills to your child’s class, it would be greatly appreciated.

Due to latest information we have received from the National Weather service, LP school system feels it is in the best interest of our students and staff to designate tomorrow, Friday, February 4th as a virtual learning day. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Teachers will send home assignments or post on google classroom. We understand that the weather may cause issues with your internet. All pre-k through 6th grade teachers have sent work home for their students.

Reminder: 4H meeting will be tomorrow in the gym 7:30-8:15. You may pick up your breakfast and take it to the gym for the meeting.

Choudrant Elementary Parents,
We have had several parents call this afternoon asking about dismissal. We will have a full day and normal dismissal. Basketball practice is cancelled today as well as Thursday's scrimmage. We will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Monday, in an effort to offset transferring illnesses.

Dear Parents,
Choudrant Elementary Parents, in an effort to keep our students and staff safe, ask that if you or someone in your household are waiting on covid results or you have been directly exposed, please don’t come in the office. If you have ANY questions about protocols or date that your child may return to school, call the office.
All visitors must have a mask before entering the building.

We have created a signup genius for parents to sign up to donate items that will be sold at our home basketball games. If you are interested in helping out our team, click on the link and sign up to bring any of the items needed. Thank you in advance. All items can be brought to the school and we will deliver them to CHS on game days. Go Aggies!!!
