Solar Eclipse
Monday- Students can bring a blanket to take outside for the solar eclipse viewing. We have an optional $3 snocone if you would like to send money with your child Monday morning. Parents are invited from 1-2:00pm. In the event that it is raining, we will have activities in the classroom for students only.
Field Day & Aggie Mile-
The Aggie Mile will be run before each grade levels's field day time.

Leap Parade will be at 8:30 for 3rd-5th grade- Parents are invited to decorate their cars and celebrate our students' Time to Shine! Field Day events will follow

Friday, April 5th we will be taking Group Class Pictures for each homeroom, Pre k through 5th Grade. If you would like to purchase one, envelopes will be sent home today in folders and I have attached an order form if needed.

K-2 parents, a reading challenge is being sent home in your child's folder. This is optional but prizes will be awarded.
The weather is definitely not cooperating with our Donut Dash this year. We are going to have to postpone one last time. We are rescheduling to be on the same day as field day.
April 11- PreK-2nd grade will have field day and donut dash all at CES.
April 12- 3rd-5th will have field day and donut dash all at CES.
We will send field day and donut dash times home after spring break. They will be morning events.
We appreciate all that have donated and helped to make this year's race a big success already.
Donut Dash times for Friday:
The race will be at CHS track.
Parents are welcome to take pictures and cheer on our students, but may not run on the track. We are looking forward to celebrating our students.

PreK Egg hunt will be Wednesday at 10:00. Your child's teacher wil send specifics on what to bring. When parking at CES, please park along the carline road or Walker Road. If parking on Walker Road, please park on the side of the road closest to the playground. Do not park on both sides of Walker Road. Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing everyone.

Donut dash t-shirts were passed out to students today. They will be sent home today or tomorrow if you ordered one. We are watching the weather for Friday and will make a decision tomorrow on if we need to postpone the race. Also permission slips should have been sent home today but if you didn't get one, it will be in folders tomorrow. We want everyone going so please look for those and return them asap.
Donut Dash Update:
We have met our $20,000 goal, WAY TO GO!!!
We made some changes to student rewards because spring pictures are also on Thursday. We will have pajama day on Wednesday, March 13 and any shoe day on Thursday, March 14.
We are watching the weather and will make a decision on Thursday, March 14 if we are going to have to postpone the dash because of rain. If we postpone it, we will have the Donut Dash at CHS track on Friday, March 22

ONLY students that will be purchasing pictures will be getting their pictures taken. Order forms will be going home today or tomorrow in you child's folder. I have also attached a copy to print if you need it.

Bus 20 is having mechanical issues. They are sending another bus to pick up students. Bus 20 students will not be marked tardy and will have the option of breakfast at school regardless of the time the bus arrives. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Effective today..... New carline procedures:
In an effort to keep our staff and students safe, CES staff will not be approaching cars when they are calling names for carline by the gate in the afternoon. Please make sure the names are visible to the staff as you come through. Best placement for the car tags are the visor or holding the car tag as you are stopped near the digital sign.
If the staff member is not able to see the names you will be asked to come into the office to pick up your child and sign them child out. As always, if you need extra car tags please let us know and we are happy to get you more.
